HEIN is delivering the Mosaïq Ottawa Phase 2 Townhomes for Ottawa Community Housing under a Lump Sum delivery method, constructing the townhome component of the broader Mosaïq Ottawa Phase 2 redevelopment in central Ottawa. The project includes three new three-storey wood-frame residential buildings, each with an additional level below grade, providing a total of 32 low-income and affordable housing units. The development also includes a dedicated laundry building.
The townhomes are being developed alongside the Phase 2 apartment towers, bringing ground-oriented homes to the site and supporting a wider range of household needs. With multi-level units and a total gross area of approximately 3,681 sq. m., the project adds family-oriented housing within walking distance of transit, schools, parks, services, and community amenities.
The residential scope includes Townhouses C, D, and E, with basement levels and three storeys above grade. The separate laundry building supports residents’ day-to-day needs and contributes to the development’s overall functionality.
As part of the broader Mosaïq Ottawa community, the townhomes help create a more varied housing environment, balancing apartment living with ground-oriented homes intended to accommodate families and larger households. Targeted for completion in 2026, the project supports Ottawa Community Housing’s continued investment in affordable and community-focused housing in the heart of the city.
