As HEIN’s Senior Vice President, Corporate Operations, corporate secretary and General Counsel, Jennifer is responsible for overseeing HEIN’s legal affairs and policies, including its corporate matters, litigation and employee relations. Jennifer initially joined HEIN as General Counsel in 2015, and has served as Senior Vice President since the beginning of August, 2018.
Prior to joining HEIN, Jennifer spent eight years practicing corporate and commercial law at national and local law firms within the City of Ottawa, which included a secondment working in the legal department of the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club. She represented HEIN, and a number of its shareholders, as external legal counsel from 2013 until 2015, when she was welcomed as an official member of HEIN team.
Jennifer graduated, with honours, from Carleton University (Ottawa) in 2004, and graduated cum laude from the University of Ottawa School of Law in 2007.
