Shawn Berube is President and Chief Operating Officer of HEIN, where he oversees the company’s day-to-day operations and works closely with the executive team to drive growth and innovation. With nearly two decades at HEIN, he brings deep operational knowledge and proven leadership experience to the role.
Shawn joined HEIN in 2006 as a Site Superintendent after graduating from the Construction Engineering Management program at George Brown College. He transitioned to Project Manager in 2017, became a shareholder in 2012, and was appointed Vice President in 2018. Over the years, Shawn has built extensive experience managing and coordinating projects in the ICI sector, guiding teams through complex builds with a focus on quality, collaboration, and client satisfaction.
Beyond his work at HEIN, Shawn is a Certified Technician and member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT), and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the General Contractors Association of Ottawa.
